Transliteration
Maine jo phool kitaabon mein chhupa rakha hai,
Uss haqiqat ko iraadon mein chhupa rakha hai.
Marmari haathon se jo phool diya tha mujhko,
Dil ne uss pal ko khayalon mein chhupa rakha hai.
Khwahish-e-deed hai chehre ko zara dekhoon to,
Chaand ko jisne hijaabon mein chhupa rakha hai.

Maine jo phool kitaabon mein chhupa rakha hai,
Flowers that I’ve concealed within my books,
LINE 2:
Uss haqiqat ko iraadon mein chhupa rakha hai.
I have hidden that reality within my dreams.
LINE 3:
Marmari haathon se jo phool diya tha mujhko,
The tender hands that gifted those flowers,
Marmari = Tender.

Dil ne uss pal ko khayalon mein chhupa rakha hai.
My heart has captured that moment in my thoughts.

Khwahish-e-deed hai chehre ko zara dekhoon to,
My eyes eagerly await her face,
Khwahish-e-deed = desire to see

Chaand ko jisne hijaabon mein chhupa rakha hai.
The one who has cloaked the moon in veils.
